Join us for a Sing-a-long in the Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens by the Pond or on the Lawn. Celebrate the end of the Summer Season with a feast of well known songs & music.
Artists will include Male Vocal Ensemble (Dordán), The Kalimbas and Soprano Caroline Reid-O'Brien.
Tickets for the seated area along Pond = €22 per person (+ booking fee). Lawn Area Tickets are €18 (+ booking fee) (if purchasing lawn tickets please feel free to bring your own picnic blanket or foldable chair as seating here will be limited).
Tickets include your entry into the Japanese Gardens and please feel free to enjoy the gardens beforehand (Gates open at 6.30pm), ticket holders are asked to be seated by 7.15pm.
Please note this is an outdoor event and it is important to wear suitable clothing and footwear when attending especially if rain or showers forecast. The Lafcadio Hearn Japanese Gardens reserve the right to cancel or postpone this event in the case of extreme wet or windy weather. Please check our Website and Facebook page for updates before travelling to the concert. Refunds are not available after purchase. If event is cancelled due to the weather or any technical difficulties ticket holders will be then offered a refund or they can retain their ticket for postponed event.

Dordán – MALE VOICE ENSEMBLE
Formed in 2014, Dordán is an all male voice choir consisting of twenty members from the city and county of Waterford. The Choir have a fantastic repertoire from modern to traditional music. The Choir is led by Musical Director Damien Kehoe.
THE KALIMBAS
An ensemble of cousins from Waterford and Kilkenny, The Kalimbas are well known for their finely tuned vocal harmonies and their ability to delight any audience. With Cathy Forristal and Cliodhna Lily Gahan on vocals, and Damien Kehoe on guitar and vocals
CAROLINE REID-O’BRIEN
Fresh from singing at the recent Memorial Mass of Brendan Bowyer (as requested by Brendan), Caroline Reid-O'Brien is a classically trained soprano from Waterford City. She has been singing throughout the South East for over 25 years. Caroline's repertoire includes classical, contemporary, Irish traditional and jazz pieces.
